The International Conference and Exhibition Room Center (Sunday) held the annual ceremony of the organizers of exhibitions and conferences “Meet US “, sponsored by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Riyadh Chamber, Mr. Ajlan bin Abdulaziz Al Ajlan, and in the presence of board member of the Chamber Chairman of the Board of Directors of Riyadh International Conference Center and exhibitions Mr. Majid bin Abdulmohsen Al Hokair, a crowd of organizers, investors and pioneers of the exhibition industry.
For his part, Professor Ajlan al-Ajlan, in a speech opened by the meeting, expressed the hope that the meeting will strengthen efforts to devote the industry of exhibitions and conferences in the Kingdom with more institutional means and mechanisms and developed through the application of the latest international standards, and in line with the kingdom’s economic potential as the largest economy in The region, hoping that this industry will achieve further development in tandem with Vision 2030, which focuses on diversifying sources of income.
He stressed that the exhibitions and conferences sector in Riyadh in particular, and the Kingdom in general, is able to achieve the expected development of its promising opportunities to enhance the value added of the national economy, and its ability to activate the cycle of operation of many economic sectors.
Mr. Majid Al Hokair expressed his pleasure in organizing and embracing the Riyadh Center “The effectiveness of our meeting ” for the third consecutive year, with ideas that contribute to the sector to achieve the vision of the Kingdom 2030, which focused largely on the interest in tourism and various events and support them with active government agencies,
Al-Hokair said the center is working on the design and implementation of a new strategy focused on enhancing cooperation with partners and knowledge of their various requirements.
The meeting included agreements for cooperation between the Center and Sharjah Expo Centers and the Dubai World Trade Centre, and aims to promote joint cooperation in the field of stimulating exhibitions activities between the center and both centres, and at the end of the meeting honored a number of bodies
